Pastor Tony Petronico was saved at age fifteen and called to preach at sixteen. He married Christal in March of 1995. Not having the advantage of growing up in a Christian home, he strayed from the Lord at age seventeen and spent the next several years away from the Lord. God used the ministry of Reformers Unanimous to break the chains of addiction and has since been faithfully active in the Lord’s work.
He graduated from Grace Baptist College in Gaylord, Michigan with a Bachelors of Biblical Studies degree in Evangelism. Beginning in 2006 Pastor Petronico began traveling our country for evangelistic meetings, counseling and preaching in revivals, missions conferences, teen camps and conferences as well as marriage seminars. During those years he helped several churches without pastors bridge the gap until they were able to call a pastor. All of those churches are thriving ministries today, praise be to God.
In 2013 the First Baptist Church of Lewiston contacted Pastor Petronico asking him to fill their pulpit. In July 2014, with a unanimous vote, First Baptist Church called him to be the full-time pastor. Having first-hand experience with emotional as well as physical and spiritual struggles and having come through as overcomers, Pastor and his wife have been able to reach hurting people of this community and see them get the help they’ve been seeking. The church has begun to flourish and grow as it ministers to people in the surrounding counties. If there is anything that Pastor Petronico can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact our offices. He is available for you.
